Catalyst Youth Ministry
A Catalyst is a change agent that accelerates or ignites a reaction. The Catalyst itself is not affected nor changed. For Christians, our Catalyst is Jesus Christ. He is added to our lives when we open up our hearts to Him. Jesus is not changed but there is a reaction that happens in our lives. By introducing Jesus into our lives He ignites our souls. We as Christians should also be a Catalyst to the world. We should be able to be "in the world but not part of the world." Having Jesus in our lives, enables us to to go out into the world and introduce them to Jesus without ourselves being affected by the world.
